Your files never leave your device — by architecture, not policy
Most online editors send your file to a remote server to process it. Blurify has no server-side processing path — not even an optional one. Blur rendering runs on the Canvas API, video re-encoding uses ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, and PDF handling is done entirely by pdf.js and pdf-lib in your browser tab.
Two ways to hide sensitive content
Softens the region without a harsh edge. Ideal for faces, license plates, and backgrounds in photos or social media content.
Complete black fill — the legal standard for court documents, compliance workflows, and any context requiring total opacity.
